Data-Driven Decision Making

Data-driven decision making involves using information to inform decisions and enact change. Although seemingly simple, the process involves determining pertinent data, collecting and analyzing data, discussing results and drawing conclusions, enacting change, and monitoring progress. This process is often depicted as a cycle of continuous improvement. In educational evaluation, data can include any information about the student, classroom, school, or community that can be gathered, reviewed, and analyzed.
