American Psychological Association Style
American Psychological Association (APA) style is a system of guidelines for writing and formatting manuscripts. APA style may be used for a number of types of manuscripts, such as theses, dissertations, reports of empirical studies, literature reviews, meta-analyses, theoretical articles, methodological articles, and case studies. APA style is described extensively in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA Publication Manual). The APA Publication Manual includes recommendations on writing style, grammar, and nonbiased language, as well as guidelines for manuscript formatting, such as arrangement of tables and section headings.
