Abstract

In this article, we are exploring some of the key insights to emerge from the conversation Andy Kirk had with Andrea Lau, data visualisation designer, and co-founder of the Australian-based data visualisation consultancy Small Multiples, looking at the design story behind a project Andrea and her team worked on for the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) during 2020 titled the ‘COVID-19 Socio-Economic Recovery Data Insight Platform’. In this article, Andy seeks to highlight five key take-aways to emerge from the conversation.
