Established in 1997, the Active Learning Networkfor Accountability and Performance in HumanitarianAction (ALNAP) is an international interagencyforum dedicated to improving the quality and accountability of humanitarian action by sharing lessons; identifying common problems; and, where appropriate, building consensus on approaches. ALNAP consistsof 51 full members and approximately 300 observermembers. Member representatives are drawn fromthe policy, operations, evaluation, and monitoringsections of organizations involved in humanitarian action.
