This dataset is designed for teaching the Poisson regression. The dataset is a subset of data derived from the 2015 Global Health Observatory (GHO) operated by the World Health Organization, and the example examines the number of suicides in each country as a function of the number of psychiatrists working in mental health section, the number of social workers working in mental health sector, and whether there is any mental health plan from the government. The dataset file is accompanied by a Teaching Guide, a Student Guide, and a How-to Guide for R.
