Learn About Log-Linear Analysis in R With Data From the News Coverage Index Dataset (2012)

By: , & Published: 2019 | Product: SAGE Research Methods Datasets Part 2

This dataset is designed for teaching the log-linear analysis in testing associations between categorical variables. The dataset is a subset of data derived from the 2012 Project for Excellence in Journalism News Coverage Index dataset, and the example demonstrates how to test whether there is a statistically significant association between the media where news stories are broadcasted, the format, and the focus of the news stories. The dataset file is accompanied by a Teaching Guide, a Student Guide, and a How-to Guide for R.
