This dataset is designed for learning to use Fisher’s Exact test. The dataset is a subset of data derived from the 2017 (December) Greater Manchester Police’s Stop and Search data, and the example tests whether there is an association between gender and the (reported) reason for an individual being stopped and searched by the police. The dataset file is accompanied by a Teaching Guide, a Student Guide, and a How-to Guide for R.
