This dataset explores the nature of diary research in the social sciences. The data are provided by Professor Andy Alaszewski, an applied social scientist, and Emeritus Professor at the University of Kent who from 2003 to 2006 led a multidisciplinary research team that examined how stroke survivors rebuilt their lives following their stroke. The dataset will be of most use to researchers wishing to analyse documents of life such as diaries. The dataset file is accompanied by a teaching guide and a student guide.
