Learn About Analysing Age in Survey Data Using Polynomial Regression in SPSS With Data From the British Crime Survey (2007)

By: & Published: 2019 | Product: SAGE Research Methods Datasets Part 2

This dataset is designed to teach basic approaches for including age as a non-linear predictor in regression analysis using polynomial regression. The dataset example expands upon another dataset example which looks at age as a continuous or categorical variable when analysing survey data. The dataset is a subset of data derived from the British Crime Survey 2007 (BCS 2007), and the example examines ways of exploring the relationship between age and a measure of feelings of safety in public spaces. The dataset file is accompanied by a Teaching Guide, a Student Guide, and a How-to Guide for SPSS.
