Abstract

A time series is, arguably, one of the most frequently encountered graphs in the popular press (newspapers, magazines), on the web, and in coursework throughout a business curriculum. In this case, it is shown that underlying some time series are other data structures that can be discovered, described, and used to gain business insight and knowledge.
