This case study examines the use of semi-structured interviews and related methods in investigating the views of key decision-makers in the cannabis space, on large cannabis firms’ motivations for participation in the space. I begin this case study with an overview of the research project and explain the research goals. I then illustrate the ways in which semi-structured interviews and related methods were utilized to conduct the study. I then offer insight around the methodological difficulties faced in conducting the study. Through these methodological issues, I proposed several insights which may aid researchers in conducting semi-structured interviews and related methods.
