A Case Study of School Leadership and the Change Process Through the Lens of Bronfenbrenner’s Bioecological Theory of Human Development

Abstract

In this case, we describe our use of a research frame usually associated with the field of child psychology. We use this frame to come to understand the change process within a school. We present the ways in which we used Bronfenbrenner’s bioecological model to organize our investigation into the leadership practices, teacher practices, and the community’s response to a school change imitative.
