Overcoming Challenges in Cross-Cultural Management Studies

Abstract

This case study is designed for undergraduate or graduate business students who are beginning their research journey. It describes some ways to approach your creation of your own personal research stream. Specifically, it focuses on international business research techniques and the use of qualitative research methods. In the case, I discuss typical issues involved in cross-cultural managerial research and some strategies that can be used to overcome them. I am sharing my experiences as I performed management research across several countries. I hope that the information here will give you some guidance and concrete building blocks to use as you start your own academic research journey.
