Four planning methods

There are, at least potentially, as many different planning methods as there are people to use them. As soon as somebody picks up a method and uses it, it is open to that writer to make some modifications. Over time, the modifications to one method can become significant enough for somebody to refine it still further and give it a new name, even though its basic working system is fundamentally the same as another method.
