This chapter focuses on quantitative methodological pathways, introducing the reader to quantitative research approaches. The chapter discusses how quantitative approaches are relevant for research projects, and takes a few methods and provides some in-depth insight into what type of data they generate. This chapter also focuses on the management and analysis of quantitative data. Some of the different approaches to data analysis are outlined, giving an overview of commonly used statistical procedures.
