Early in my psychology education I felt I had a pretty good grip on basic data analysis. After a series of dreary summer jobs during college, I received a National Science Foundation undergraduate summer fellowship prior to my senior year. Hooray! It was focused on statistics and also allowed me work in a psychology lab (low pay but highly rewarding).
