A Guide to Publications
A Guide to Publications
There are literally thousands of publications in hundreds of disciplines that publish research reports in the general areas of sociology. The following sections describe some of them, but you should be aware that new publications arise frequently and that some established ones cease publication. Check Web sites or a recent printed copy of the journal before submitting anything for publication. (Table 5.3, pp. 205-238 of this volume, contains a list of journals of interest to sociologists. This section discusses a smaller number of journals in more detail.)
