Notions of inquiry, theories and frameworks, come from different contexts and lives. You can be open to your form(s) and its (their) development, rather than prematurely judgemental or conformist. You can explore, borrow, adapt, innovate. Sometimes developing inquiring practice requires consenting to an offered approach enough to learn about it from within, and then adapting it as you wish. Sometimes it means cleaving to your independence, belligerence even, asserting repeatedly what is not your way, until some form arises that is, and has that mark of ‘you’ that will make people who know you smile.
