Action inquiry and the action logics framework elaborated below are, like all other notions in this book, offered to be held lightly, as potential contributions to disciplined experimentation, not only within these frames, but with curiosity directed at the frames themselves.

The frameworks introduced below have recently been revised (Erfan and Torbert, 2015; Torbert, 2013), adopting new terms.
