A “Failed” Logic Model : How I Learned to Connect With All Stakeholders

After presenting the logic model we developed, I was stunned when the funder looked directly at me, then turned to the program director and emphatically stated, “These outcomes are not what we are funding you to do!” Everyone in the room sat so silent, you could have heard a pin drop. This chapter tells the story of how a technically uncomplicated logic model led to embarrassment for me and serious stakeholder disagreement.
