R Commander is a very important package in the R system, especially for casual users like us. It provides a version of R that operates much like the widely used statistical software packages, for example, SPSS and Minitab. For sure, you will ask, “If R has a version like, say, SPSS, why did you just put me through all that stuff about prompts, functions, read.table, and so on?” Good question. There are two answers.
