What Is a Bar Chart, and How Can I Create One Using Excel?
A bar chart is a visual representation of categorical data that uses horizontally oriented bars to represent frequencies or values of the x-axis. To create a simple bar chart using Excel, follow these steps:
- In a new worksheet, enter the data as shown here. In this case, gender and frequency are represented.
- Highlight all the data.
