What Is an Example of How the Median Can Be Used?

You already know from the previous question that the most useful application of the median as a measure of central tendency is to data sets that include extreme scores. As it turns out, one of the most frequent uses of the median is the computation of a measure of central tendency for annual income in the United States and in other developed countries.
