The training of educational researchers refers to the process by which individuals acquire the skills and knowledge required to effectively and ethically conduct research in the field of education. Training in educational research may commonly begin during pursuit of a graduate degree, though it may begin earlier at the undergraduate level. The training of educational researchers involves an ongoing process of learning beyond completion of formal academic training, extending across the career of educational researchers.
