Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking

Although E. Paul Torrance developed several assessments of creative thinking over his many years of research, the two tests of creative thinking commonly referred to as the Torrance Tests are actually entitled Thinking Creatively with Pictures and Thinking Creatively with Words. These two assessments, originally created in the 1950s, are the most used measures of creativity worldwide, have had the most research conducted with and about them, and have been translated into over 40 languages. Published by Scholastic Testing Company, these measures were designed for administration to children and adults aged 4 years and older.
