Learn About Network Transitivity in R With Data From UK Faculty Dataset (2008)

By: & Published: 2019 | Product: SAGE Research Methods Datasets Part 2

This dataset is designed for teaching the transitivity of networks. The dataset is a subset of data derived from the 2008 UK Faculty dataset, and the example computes the transitivity of the friendship network of the faculty of a UK university and compares it to the transitivity of random networks from the configuration model. The dataset file is accompanied by a Teaching Guide, a Student Guide, and a How-to Guide for R.
