This dataset is designed for learning about Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), using the AMOS software package. The dataset is a subset derived from the 2016 International Sponsorship Study (ISS 2016) conducted by researchers at Cardiff University. The example uses data from 123 English respondents and establishes whether animosity towards Germany and ethnocentrism are predictors of attitude (ATT) towards German automotive brand SMART. Moreover, in light of a hypothetical sponsorship of the English soccer team, we test whether ATT is a strong predictor for perceptions of fit (fit) between the team and brand. The dataset file is accompanied by a Teaching Guide, a Student Guide, and a How-to Guide for AMOS.
