This dataset is designed for teaching content analysis of open-ended survey questions and interview data as gathered from language-teaching professionals who support Syrian learners of English. These data are provided by Professor Li-Shih Huang from the University of Victoria’s Department of Linguistics. The examples focus on ways learners’ needs can be qualitatively examined from different sources of data in order to inform instructors who support Syrian learners. The dataset file is accompanied by a Teaching Guide and a Student Guide.
