Abstract

This case study provides an account of teaching a curriculum that was designed to foster a democratic classroom in which students to apply ethical reasoning about sexual situations. This case study sheds light on the challenges working with survey instruments that do not accurately reflect the aims of this study, working within a classroom setup to operate under different rules from the curriculum, and capturing the discourse in the buzzing confusion of a classroom with so many differing views from students of such diverse backgrounds.
