Abstract
This case describes an application of the systematic literature review method in the field of business management. It highlights the applicability of the method from the perspective of starting up a new research program and focuses on some critical decision-making strategies that are often implicit between the lines of the instructions of the method. In particular, the case emphasizes the importance of working with an appropriate research scope and the careful search and analysis actions when applying the method.
